Hotel Transylvania is that kind of movie where you can enjoy watching with your family. The story is interesting, and the humour is excellent.  

 

Compared to other animated movies, this movie is decently fast-paced; the characters portrayed are adorable, and anyone can fall in love with them. 

 

When the movie was first released in 2012, it was a massive hit and collected over $355 million worldwide. Fans from all over the world wanted the movie to have sequels to continue the story further, and soon enough, their wishes were granted. The studio then went ahead to release 2 more sequels and the fourth one, which is set to release next year.

What is Hotel Transylvania about?

Hotel Transylvania is an animated series created by Todd Durham and directed by Genndy Tartakovsky. The series franchise has four theatrical movies, three visual novels and three short features produced by Sony Pictures Animation, including flash animated television series video games. The voice cast includes some of the prominent faces in the industry led by Adam Sandler, Selena Gomez, and Andy Samberg.

 

The first film, Hotel Transylvania, was aired in September 2012, with two more sequels, Hotel Transylvania 2 and Hotel Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation, which premiered in September 2015 and July 2018. The films have grossed more than $1.3 billion globally. The fourth sequel titled Hotel Transylvania: Transformania is set to premiere on Amazon Prime Video on January 14, 2022.

 

The story follows the adventures of encircling monsters who inhabit the supposed Hotel Transylvania. At this plaza hotel, monsters can loosen up and get secluded from humans due to fear of humans hunting them down. Many of the notable characters are primarily based on or are caricatures of the Universal Movie Monsters.

What do we know about Hotel Transylvania 5?

As per reports, it was revealed in April 2021 that the fourth movie of Hotel Transylvania is supposedly the final movie of the Hotel Transylvania franchise. 

 

However, it was announced that the fifth instalment titled Hotel Transylvania 5: Christmas Holidays is set to arrive in 2024 and will be the final instalment to the Hotel Transylvania series and a sequel to the fourth movie Hotel Transylvania: Transformania (2022). The director onboard is Jennifer Alaska, along with Derek Drymon and penned by Genndy Tartakovsky. Most of the original cast members will reprise their respective roles except for Adam Sandler, who has departed from the franchise and replaced Brian Hull. The star who lends his voice in the previous three movies won’t be in the fourth movie or any of the Hotel Transylvania movies in the future.

Hotel Transylvania 5 plot: What would the story be?

As for the plot, nothing has been revealed as it is too early for updates and announcements about the fifth instalment. Well, to put it, filming hasn’t even begun for the fifth sequel, and since the fourth movie is not even released, it’s tough to predict what’ll happen next.  But we’re excited to see Dracula, Johnny, Mavis and the whole gang for more new adventures.
