Heavenly Bites: Mexico: What’s the show about?

Heavenly Bites: Mexico is a food lover’s favourite show. It is a reality TV show that was created by Laura Woldenberg and Nacho Gil. Aka “La Divina Gula”, the show illustrates Mexican culture and brings forth the numerous ways Mexican cuisines can be devoured! Featuring world-class chefs who specialise in making distinct (and mouth-watering) dishes using an irresistible blend of spices and flavours, the show bestows a visual culinary experience to the audiences!

This food documentary series is currently streaming on Netflix with its finger-licking dishes, making people’s stomachs gnaw with hunger pangs (even when they’re not hungry xD!) These chefs mix their passion and drive for food with experience and knowledge that goes into cooking good food. The official synopsis reads, “Welcome to a food extravaganza, a visual poem to Mexico’s foodie ingenuity and the quirky and delicious flavours that are worth the stomach aches.”

Heavenly Bites: Mexico Season 2: When’s the premiere date for the next instalment?

‘Heavenly Bites: Mexico’ season 1 aired on Netflix on the 19th of January, 2022. There were a total of six episodes with a run time of 27-32 minutes each.

As for season 2, the streamer or the developers of the show haven’t made any revelations about the progress or updates in general. There have (literally) been zero news announcements for Heavenly Bites Season 2. That said, we do not even know if the show’s getting a renewal or if it will be cancelled.

The food series, however, did get a lot of positive reviews from the audiences and critics. Besides, it had a decent score on all rating aggregator sites. Hence, cancelling the show wouldn’t make concrete sense. Considering how unique the concept was, people savoured the cuisines and learnt a lot from the culinary experiences the chefs shared on the show. It’s no mention that the viewers are looking for another season!!

The producers of the show are expanding their reach by providing a plethora of both scripted and unscripted content to formulate a presence in Latin America. Could that mean something though? However, Netflix hasn’t given a green light to the second instalment, as of this writing. The pre-production, filming, post-production, and other potential activities will then follow. It’s a long process!

Having said that, if we were to anticipate the release of Heavenly Bites: Mexico Season 2, we would say that it might premiere either by the end of this year (chances are slim though) or 2023. Whatever it is, we will keep you guys posted. So, stay tuned!

The first season of the food documentary series was hosted by Memo Villegas – a professional actor known for his striking roles in ‘Run Coyote Run,’ ‘How to Survive Being Single,’ and ‘Backdoor.’ We expect Memo Villegas to return for season 2 as well.

The show also featured a lot of chefs and expert food entrepreneurs, specialising in preparing incredible Mexican dishes. There’s a good chance that these people might also return. However, we anticipate that the next instalment might feature brand new talents to gravitate more viewers toward watching the show.

However, as of now, the production team or makers of the show haven’t made any public announcements regarding the official star cast list for Heavenly Bites: Mexico Season 2.
