Directed by Yasuhiro Irie and penned by Noboru Kimura, ‘Healer Girl’ or Hīrā Gãru in Japanese is an original Japanese anime TV series that is being animated by Studio 3Hz. The characters for the anime series are designed by Yukie Akiya and Ryo Takahashi who composed the music. The series made its debut on April 4, 2022.
The description of Healer Girl on MAL states:
“An established discipline on par with conventional medical approaches, “vocal medicine” is the practice of using songs to treat health conditions and injuries. Young people around the world strive to master the art and become “healers” to help people through the power of their voices.
“Among the many healers in training is Kana Fujii, a naturally talented singer who was inspired to pursue the profession after a life-changing experience. Along with the driven Reimi Itsushiro and the easygoing Hibiki Morishima, Kana trains at Karasuma Phoniatric Clinic under the stern yet kind mentorship of Ria Karasuma.”
The description continues: “As they endeavor to achieve their dreams, Kana and her friends meet various colorful healers along the way, discovering that there is much more to vocal medicine than just diligent studying!”

Release Date of Healer Girls Season 2: When is it?
Currently, there has been no word from the show makers concerning a second season of Healer Girls. The first season ran from April 4 to June 20, 2022, consisting of 12 episodes which means it’s only been about two months since the show wrapped and fans probably need to wait longer for further announcements like renewal status and along with other important details.
However, even if the anime series were to be renewed by this year itself, fans won’t get to see the new episodes until sometime in 2024.
