The series made its debut on television in April 2020. Since its finale aired in June 2020, fans are awaiting renewal news about its follow-up. But sadly, there is no word regarding the second installment of this anime series. Does that imply that Gleipnir would not return for another season? Find everything related to Gleipnir Season 2 below:
Gleipnir Season two: Release date
We have no concrete details about the release date of Gleipnir’s second part so far. However, our best guess is that the sequel would drop by either late 2021 or mid-2022. We have hopes that the showrunners would confirm the official airing date soon enough.
Its first part is available on Funimation, AnimeLab, FunimationNow, and Wakanim. Don’t miss out on a chance to enjoy this action and horror anime series.
Gleipnir Season two: Plot
Gleiphir Season one covers up to 6 volumes of the manga. Besides, the first part of the series drifted a bit from the original manga to the disappointment of fans. At present, there is a total of 10 volumes of the manga. That implies that there is no scarcity of content material for the next season. However, it is not easy to predict whether the upcoming chapter would follow the events of the series finale or bring in new twists and action from the manga. One thing is certain that we would witness more deadly battles between Kaito, the villain who was made familiar to the audience in episode 13th, and Shuchi and Claire. It would be difficult to fight against Kaito and his army, who have the power to resurrect. To know where the storyline further unfolds, stay tuned.
Gleipnir Season two: Cast
If a second chapter is confirmed, a safe bet is that we could see most of our favorite characters on screen. Shuichi Kagaya is the story’s main character, so he would stay as long as the show does not end. Natsumi Fujiwara brings Shuichi to life by giving his voice to the character. In addition to this, other characters including Claire Aoki, Elena Aoki, Alien, Nana Mifune, Abukawa, Hikawa, Tadanori Sanbe, Chihiro Yoshioka, Ikeuchi, and Subaru would reappear in the series’ follow-up. We are assuming that season two would feature additional characters based upon the storyline. But there is not much information about them yet.
