If you’re one of those peeps who literally groove on anime, you must have watched the compelling Fire Force series as of now? Well, in case you haven’t, this is your moment!
Fire Force is a popular anime series, topping the sales chart the minute it aired on the internet. Both season 1 and season 2 were widely praised by the critics and the audience. Fans have wreaked havoc on social media – awaiting the release of Fire Force Season 3. Because the makers of the show released the next season within a year of the release of the first season, fans are in a quandary!
While the Fire Force franchise has gotten a lot of love and fame, Funimation is yet to announce the release date of the third season. Season 2 aired (on the 4th of July, 2020) exactly after the end of season 1 (5th of July, 2019). However, this isn’t the case with season 3. It’s 2022 and we still don’t have any official news on the network regarding the release of one of the most cherished anime series’ upcoming season, Fire Force season 3.
With the franchise growing exponentially, the fandom is expecting Fire Force season 3 to bring in some more sci-fi action. They want Shinra back in action! Enthusiasts are looking forward to watching Shinra complete Benimaru’s Company 7’s captain training – and thus, unlocking The Press of Death.
Fire Force Season 3: Release Date
Adhering to the fact that the second season ended on the 12th of December, 2020, it’s been a year since we heard any news or announcements from the makers of the show. No wonder, the pandemic resulted in the postponement of the release dates of numerous TV shows, we can say it’s the same with Fire Force as well. Perhaps, even the Fire Force series had to face a backlash! Nonetheless, there is a good probability that Fire Force season 3 will premiere sooner than later.
As there’s no official confirmation made, we can only assume the release date through updates and details we could gather. That said, Fire Force Season 3 can be released in 2023 or later. Given there’s no news by the makers, it’s less likely to be released in 2022!
Fire Force Season 3: Plot
Fire Force managed to pick up well when it commenced – as it was able to formulate enough material for season 2 at a faster rate. If you’re an OG follower of the Fire Force manga series, you can still read ahead of the anime. Season 2 is gonna be adapted on grounds of the same manga!
Here’s a brief synopsis of the Fire Force series: Based on the manga of the same name, set in an alternate version of Japan with supernatural beings, humans are policed by a distinct task force known as Fire Force. These forces comprise adolescents and young adults mostly. The plot focuses on Shinra, who is the youngest and strongest member of the group. His very ability results in him going on a killing spree, and destroying all those around him.
Ordered by Shinra’s father, a high ranking member of the Fire Force and Shinra’s superior officer, Shiba Tatsuo – and his close friend, Buaku join the pack to keep an eye on him. This causes tension among other teammates as they do not want to be a part of such destruction. Season 1 and 2 kept the spectators glued to their digital screens. But what’s the twist that season 3 will bring along? Stay tuned for updates!
