About the horror film: The TRIP
The story of The Trip will be filmed in a small town just an hour outside of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The original script sat dormant on a shelf for several years, but now the tale is finally being told. Though names have been changed to protect those involved and creative liberties have been taken, much of this story is based in fact. The TRIP will be the debut feature film for Dean Jacobs as Executive Producer, based on an original script also written by Dean.
Over the last few years Pittsburgh, PA has garnered the reputation as “Hollywood East”. As a result, productions have flocked to the area. And in turn, talented local crews have developed to service all those production needs. The pool for crew in the Pittsburgh area is tremendously talented and those are the people we’re looking for! True to our roots, the crew on this film will be almost entirely from the greater Pittsburgh area. That’s pretty much all the details that we have at the moment.
