Dororo is a character from the 1960s so you can pretty much say that it is one of the oldest anime. But first you need to understand that Dororo is apparently a modern remake of one of the first animated series in history. The show was based on a manga that was published from 1967 to 1968 respectively. An animated version of the manga was published in 1987.
Dororo is a Japanese animated dark fantasy television show with the first season aired in January 2019 and ending in June 2019 with a total of 24 episodes. The story follows a child named Hyakkimaru born with a curse and therefore he embarks on a journey alongside Dororo to defeat the demons and to break free from the curse.

Dororo Season 2 Release Date: When is it
Despite the show’s immense popularity after the first season aired, Dororo season 2 seems uncertain as there is no information so far. The previous season was released in 2019. To put it, it’s already three years and till now there’s no news yet. Do we get a season 2? It’s still unknown, maybe we have to wait for a little more.
Dororo, co-produced by MAPPA and Tezuka Productions, still haven’t made any official announcements about the next season. But that doesn’t mean that we’re not getting a season 2. According to speculations, we’re expecting the new series towards the end of this year or in 2022 or sometime in 2023. Season 2 of Dororo hasn’t been confirmed yet but we really hope that we get to see it soon.
