It is going to be a spectacular year for Deltarune fans because 2022 will see the release of three new chapters of the role-playing video game. Toby Fox, the developer of Deltarune, has officially announced in 2021 that chapters 3, 4, and 5 are underway, and will be out together. The first chapter of the game opened to favorable reviews from gamers and critics alike on February 28, 2019. Unfortunately, gamers have to wait a long while to get their hands on its second chapter which did not arrive until September 2021. Deltarune 2 was released for free on Microsoft Windows, macOS, the Nintendo Switch, and PlayStation 4 in the unprecedented times caused by the pandemic. Fox requested the gamers to instead use the saved money to purchase games from other Indie developers.
Now that Deltarune’s future chapters are planned and work-in-progress, gamers are wondering when they can access them? Currently, there is no specific date of launch for its upcoming chapters, however, if the prior release pattern is anything to go by, we could see an expected premiere date of 2023 for chapters 3,4, and 5. In a previous interview, Fox was hopeful that the new chapters of the popular game will not take as long as its predecessors.

A trailer for Deltarune chapter three has not yet been released. And we would not see one until a few days leading up to its official launch. Because that’s the format Fox likes to stick to.
What will be the cost of Deltarune chapter 3?
It is not yet revealed how much price a player has to pay for Deltarune’s next set of chapters. But our best-educated guess is that chapters 3, 4, and 5 will be priced higher than Undertale (Fox’s 2015 game). At present, Undertale is available to gamers at $14.99. Although it is very early to guess the exact price of Deltarune 3 as Fox has plans to release 3, 4, and 5 chapters as a single paid title.

Deltarune chapter one is available on multiple platforms including Microsoft Windows, macOS, the Nintendo Switch, and PlayStation 4, while its second title is dropped to PC and Mac. With that in mind, Deltarune’s forthcoming titles will exclusively be on PC and Mac before making it to other platforms.
What is the story of Deltarune? What to Expect from its Chapter 3, 4 and 5?
Deltarune centers around school-going kids, Krish and sushi who inadvertently unlock a door to The Dark World wherein they meet a mysterious kind, Ralsei. Further Ralsei teams up with the duo to protect the world from unforeseen threats and dangers. Because there is an evil king and many Dark Foundations that must be closed if Krish and Sushi wish to go home. Chapter two sees the pair joined by their classmates, Noelle and Berdly, in their combat. New challenges and darkness ensue in title two as the teens battle, fall, rise and eventually come out of The Dark World. It is not clear yet which new characters might pop up in the future titles, yet we expect things to get darker, and unpredictable in the next titles.
How many chapters does Delatune include?
