Actors like David Harbour, Hannah John-Kamen, and Olga Kurylenko are among the list of cast members who will be seen next in Marvel’s much anticipated ‘Thunderbolts.’
During the D23 Expo panel, Kevin Feige, Head of Marvel Studios officially announced an A-list squad of familiar cast members for the forthcoming movie ‘Thunderbolts.’
David Harbour is well known for starring in Netflix’s hit series ‘Stranger Things’ as Jim Hobber. The actor marked his Marvel debut in 2021 Black Widow, he played the role of Red Guardian.
Harbour had a vast career, where he appeared in movies, TV shows, and theater. In 2005, he was also nominated for a Tony Award for Best Actor in a Featured Role. Harbour’s other works encompass “Brokeback Mountain,” “Hellboy,” and “The Equalizer,” to name a few.
Hannah John-Kamen earned quite a reputation for portraying the role of anti-hero Ghost in the 2018 Ant-man and The Wasp. The actress will once again reprise her role in the upcoming film Thunderbolts.’
John-Kamen is an incredibly talented performer who earned huge popularity after starring in ‘Killjoys.’ She also appeared in HBO’s Game of Thrones, portraying the character of Ornela. Hannah first began her career as a voice artist in the widely popular game ‘Dark Souls.’ Her works also include “The Stranger,” “Ready Player One,” and “Black Mirror.”
Olga Kurylenko who also starred in 2021 Black Widow as Taskmaster will be reprising her role once again and will play a major part of the ‘Thunderbolts’ squad. Before making her debut in the Marvel universe, she was mainly known as a ‘’Bond Girl,’ for appearing in “Quantum of Solace.”
Kurylenko was born in Berdyansk, Ukraine, Soviet Union. In her early life, she got picked for having a beautiful face and landed herself in the modeling world and had a successful modeling career. She marked her debut in the film industry in 2005 “The Ring Finger”, playing the role of Iris. Her other works include “Oblivion” (2013), “Hitman” (2007), and “Tyranny” (2008).
The other cast members in ‘Thunderbolts’ comprises Florence Pugh (as Yelena Belova), Sebastian Stan (as Bucky Barnes aka the Winter Soldier), Julia Louis-Dreyfus (as La Contessa Valentina Allegra de la Fontaine), Wyatt Russell (as John Walker aka US Agent),
The whole cast was on scene at D23, except Florence Pugh who was absent due to conflicting schedules.
‘Thunderbolts’ was declared openly in July during Marvel’s Hall H panel at San Diego Comic-Con. It is slated to premiere on July 26, 2024.
