Carnival Row is an American neo-noir fantasy TV series that debuted on August 30, 2019, on Amazon prime videos. Created by René Echevarria and Travis Beacham, the series is based on Beacham’s unproduced film spec script, A Killing on Carnival Row.
The storyline of the series follows, “mythical creatures who have fled their war-torn homeland and gathered in the city as tensions are simmering between citizens and the growing immigrant population.”
It stars Orlando Bloom, Cara Delevingne, Simon McBurney, Tamzin Merchant, David Gyasi, Andrew Gower, Karla Crome, Arty Froushan, Indira Varma, and Jared Harris as the lead character of the play.
The series is produced by Gideon Amir alongside Rene Echevarria, Travis Beacham, Marc Guggenheim, Jon Amiel, and Orlando Bloom as the executive producers. The production companies behind the series are Siesta Productions, Legendary Television, and Amazon Studios.
