Las Chicas del Cable, or Cable Girl, is a television drama produced by Netflix. This is a Spanish drama centred in Madrid in the 1920s. It follows the lives of four Spanish women who, for different reasons, begin employment at a telecommunications firm and begin a new life discovering new facts regarding the world and one other.
Each woman belongs to a different background and seems to have her own set of problems to deal with. The primary thing that you appreciate is understanding what it was like to be a working woman in a place where women’s rights were severely restricted at the time. The first season consists of eight episodes and premiered on April 28, 2017. The series was well-received, and it has broadcast five seasons so far, with the fifth season being split into two parts.
Season 5 premiered on February 14th, 2020, with the second half premiering on July 3rd, 2020. The last episode, titled The End, aired on July 3rd. Netflix did not release a new episode every week for this series. Instead, they provided fans with enough content to watch for a whole season. Will there be a season 6 of Cable Girls?
