Netflix is constantly bringing fresh content for its viewers that has given space to important stories that never have been told. One such amusing storyline is Baby Fever which sheds light on a woman’s desire to feel satisfied and complete by birthing a child. The plot follows the story of NAna, a fertility specialist `who realizes that she is nearing early menopause, and she cannot be a mother after 6 months. This made her do things which would not have done in a sane state of mind. Nana impregnates herself with his ex-lover’s sperm and what follows is a series of unanticipated events that make her ask the obvious question why does she want to have a baby? With the series already on air, fans are curious to see what happens to Nana and Matthias’ story after season one’s finale episode? Unfortunately, there is no firm word on whether this series will have a season two given it has released its initial run just recently. That said, here’s everything you must know about a possible Baby Fever season two:
Is Baby Fever season 2 renewed yet?
While there is excitement about Baby fever’s future episodes, the series remains in dark as of now as Netflix will take some time to analyze its viewership statistics and ratings before ordering additional episodes. But considering the love and appreciation that show is gathering from its viewers for its relatable storyline and interesting characters, season two is very much a possibility.
So, while there is plenty of time for a season two, fans can rewatch its 6-episode season and have a little me time.
Baby Fever season 2’s anticipated airing date
Since the series is yet to be announced officially, it is hard to tell when will it drop on the streamer. But based on its prior airing date, fans should not expect its follow-up season until the 2023 summer, at the very least. Fans should note that this is just a conjecture and it may be a while until things get executed.
Baby Fever season two’s the possible plotline
With season one’s cliffhanger end, we reckon that there is enough room to continue the story of Nana, Mattias, and their unborn child. If a future season arrives, viewers may be thrilled to see the motherhood journey of Nana and her getting together with her love to parent their child. And that is still a possibility since Mathias wants to settle down after being diagnosed with a life-threatening ailment.
With things still up in the air, it will be a delight to see what unfolds next in a potential installment two given Nana has plenty of choices and decisions to make to be a happy version of herself.
Baby Fever season two’s cast predictions
Josephine Park leads the series. Park plays Nana’s character, who gets impregnated by her ex-boyfriend’s sperm in a drunkard state. Simon Sears (Shadow and Bone) plays Mathias, Nana’s lost love which she tries to get back.
Other likable returns include Olivia Joof Lewerissa as Simone, Nana’s friend who works at the hospital’s sperm bank, and Charlotte Munck as Helle, Nana’s boss. Additionally, the series also has several supporting characters like Mikael Birkkjær (from Borgen) as Niels-Anders, Emil Prenter as Flot Fys, Tammi ost as Lise Lacour, Jesper Ole Feit Andersen as Anton, and Ida Caecilie Rasmussen as Christina.
Should season two get an official renewal, we anticipate that the original cast from the series will reprise their roles.
