Conceived by Meric Acemi, “As the Crow Flies” is a mature drama streaming television series that portrays the inter-generational dispute between a Generation Z enthusiast and her Generation X newscaster Idol. When the woman drives her way into a well-established newsroom, she discovers herself pulled to the shady side of endeavor, and all that it encompasses. The series was launched on Netflix on June 3, 2022.
Upon release, the series was well-received by the audience and critics. And although this show was just released, fans can’t help but wonder if As the Crow Flies will return for another round. Here is everything we know about the second season of the series.
Will there be a Season 2 of As the Crow Flies?
Sadly, there is still no declaration of the potential second season by either Netflix or the show makers. However, we do know that the series is not canceled nor renewed which indicates that there is a high chance that As the Crow Flies will be back with season 2. Furthermore, given the massive success of the first season, it won’t be much of a surprise even if Netflix greenlights the next part since many people are anticipating its return.
As the Crow Flies Season 2 Release Date: When is it?
As already mentioned, the series for now has not received the green signal from the giant streamer. Nevertheless, it’s only been a week since the series debuted and it will probably take a while for Netflix to make announcements regarding the upcoming season. Hence, there is no official release date for now.
It is expected that the new season will be out around the same time as the first season meaning the second season will most likely arrive by mid-2023 and just like the first season, it will consist of eight episodes.
The Cast of As The Crow Flies Season 2
If As the Crows makes a comeback for round two, it’s pretty much evident that the main characters Brice Akalay and Miray Daner will be reprising their roles as Lale and Asli respectively. Other cast members who are expected to return in the second season includes–
- Ibrahim Celikkol in the role of Kenan
- Irem Sak will portray the role of Muge
- Burak Yamanturk in the role of Selim
Additionally, we also expect to see few of the supporting characters Şifanur Gul, Eren Cigdem, Demircan Kacel, and Merve Hazer in the upcoming season.
The Expected Plot for Season 2 of As The Crow Flies
In the first season’s final moments, we witnessed that Lale disappeared as she chooses to spend time with her kin while Asli has taken control as the news reporter.
Lale soon learns about Asli’s real motive behind his success. To come this far, he misled people and conned them all because so he can be successful. In season 2, we’ll get to see more of Lale as she will try to confront Asli.
