Ark has been a popular video game ever since its first release not only that but Ark has players around the world who absolutely love the game. In August 2017, Ark: Survival Evolved, which is the first part of the game, was launched by Instinct Games and Studio Wildcard. The Ark series, just after two years of introduction to the gaming world, the Ark game slowly expanded and was being developed.
On December 10, 2020, Ark 2 was announced at the Game Awards along with a reveal trailer. Ark 2 which is a sequel to the Ark series is a much-anticipated game with the same survival concept as the previous game. But the upcoming sequel is expected that gamers will encounter more infuriating situations and be exposed to the more dangerous surroundings.
When the trailer was launched, fans were astounded to feature the muscular actor Vin Diesel fighting monsters in the wilderness. Here’s what we know so far about Ark 2:
Ark 2: Release Date
As of now, the specific release date has not been declared. However, Ark 2 is slated for a release in 2022.
We’ll have to wait for further announcements from the game developers and hopefully, they will also come up with an official title for the sequel.
Platforms
The second edition of Ark will be launched exclusively for the Xbox series X|S console. If rumors are to be believed and things go down the saw way as Survival Evolved, it’s likely to include PC as well (perhaps Xbox Games Pass at release) and eventually PS5 will follow.
Previously, Microsoft also pointed out that the next game will be mainly optimized for the Xbox series X|S.
Ark 2: Leaks & Speculations
Several months ago, it was disclosed on Twitter that one of the game developers for Ark 2 dropped major hints and what players should expect from the forthcoming sequel.
In September 2021, The information was shared on Twitter along with a screenshot of the leaked information. The caption reads:
“3 maps at launch
▫️ Creatures with sleep cycles
▫️ More story focus on the maps
and more…
(Take these leaks with a pinch of salt, the author of the leak is unknown but describes himself as a member of the development team 🤔)”
Unfortunately, the tweet has now since been deleted though we’re absolutely curious about it.
Ark 2 Story: How’s it going to be?
Studio Wildcard unveiled the cinematic trailer publicly nearly two years ago and fans have been anxiously waiting for more disclosures although we have bits and pieces of information, and with the trailer already launched, we can get plenty of hints. Nonetheless, the game developers need to hype the fans more, maybe by revealing more about the gameplay. Anyhow, all we have to do for now is to wait patiently.
Do you know? Ark 2, a sequel to the Ark series is lauded as the next-generation game. It will enable every participant in the game to have the most intense survival experience alongside the main character Vin Diesel, who’ll be showcased as Santiago.
The game, Ark 2 is expected to be an expanded and more advanced version of Ark: Survival Evolved. Players need to be on their highest guard as they will be dealing with and encounter creatures like Morlock-Esque. It is also expected that vicious dinosaurs will be unleashed in the game to make the story of the game more interesting.
