Andrew Tate, the famous influencer who was recently arrested in Romania in connection with a human trafficking and sexual exploitation case, has claimed that he is innocent of all charges. In his first statement to investigators, he argued that he was actually the “trafficked person” in the case, rather than the other way around.
Tate also denied that he ever received money from the girls involved in the case, and said that he had no knowledge of any discussions that may have taken place between them. He claimed that he only saw Luana, one of the girls involved, three times in his life, and that he did not know what her connection was to his brother. He also stated that he did not know what was on the phones of his assistant, nurse, or veterinarian.
Tate went on to say that he had read the case file and found that there were many missing links. He claimed that the girl who accused him of rape was someone he knew from London, and that he had only agreed to see her because she was always asking for money. He also said that he knew she had drug problems and had been involved in blackmailing men for money.
The influencer admitted that he had given the girl 10,000 euros during the time she lived in Romania, but he denied that he ever agreed to let her live with him in his house. He said that he introduced her to his nurse, Georgiana Naghel, and told her to turn to her for any problems she had.
Tate and Naghel, who was referred to as his “last official girlfriend,” have both been accused by prosecutors of creating an organized criminal group, human trafficking, and sexual exploitation. There are six victims in the case, including a young woman from America, one from the Republic of Moldova, and four Romanians.
The charges against Tate and Naghel are among the most serious, including rape and money laundering. The acts are alleged to have been committed between January 2021 and December 2022. The case is ongoing, and it remains to be seen what evidence will be presented to support the allegations against Tate and Naghel.
