Amazon’s Invincible Season 2 is Releasing Soon
A day before the Invincible’s grand finale, its creator, Robert Kirkman took to Twitter to break the big news to the series’s fans. He along with Steve Yeun gave a quick update via a video about the renewal of the animated superhero series’ next two seasons. To the delight of the viewers, the Walking Dead’s star was heard saying that we are hopeful for a hundred more seasons. If that does not excite you, we are not sure what will. The television show has garnered attention from fans all over. It is a victory for all those who partook in the social media campaign demanding for its installment second.
Based on a comic book comprising 144 issues, Invincible portrays traditional superheroes with unexpected twists and drama. It narrates the story of Mark Grayson, who is an ordinary teen until he turns seventeen years old. His father, Omni-man, possesses superpowers that put him in a superior position on the planet. As a child, Mark always looked up to Omni-man, who he found out later to have evil intentions. Although there is scarce information about the upcoming season at present, we have tried to put together everything we know so far about Invincible Season 1. Invincible season 2: Release Date
Unfortunately, we have not heard much about the release date of Invincible Season 2. The previous season was announced in June 2018 yet it took almost 3 years to develop and produce it. Although the next season will not take that long, we are expecting that filming will begin in 2022 at some point. Presumably, the show makers have carried out a lot of work in the last season, which will save them some time and effort for the second chapter.
Invincible season 2 is likely to air on Amazon Prime by mid-2023.
Invincible Season 2: Plot
It is too soon to disclose much about the season’s storyline. Season 1 witnessed the devastating fight between NolanGrayson and his son, Mark Grayson. With Nolan setting off to deep spaces, Mark might accept Cecil’s proposal of being the Earth’s Protector. However, Nolan has plans to take over the planet. The alien invasion may follow the comeback of the rivals. It is speculated that the plot may not see the return of Nolan in the first episodes. It may also talk about Mark’s escalating tension about Cecil’s ways of protecting the planet. Having said that, the show will never fail to amuse us.
Invincible Season 2: Cast
Be ready for the return of Steven Yeun as Mark Grayson, J.K. Simmons as Nolan Grayson, and Sandra Oh as Debbie Grayson in Season 2. Seth Rogen, Zazie Beetz, and Eve will a part of the supporting cast. New characters may appear as the storyline unfolds.
