Age of Empires is set and mainly revolves around Europe, Africa and Asia focusing on the Stone Age era to the Iron Age era. The game slowly expanded to the Roman Empire. Age of Empires 2: The Age of Kings which is a sequel to the first original game was established in the Middle Ages, while its growth was somewhat directed on the Spanish domination of Mexico. The other three games of Age of Empires 3 sought on the early modern era when Europe was occupying the Americans and some of the Asian countries were on the verge of downfall.

The latest instalment of the games Age of Empires Online is a much different method for players to play free online games operating Games for Windows Live. Age of Mythology, a spin-off that was set in the same era as the original game but centred more on mythological aspects of Greeks, Egyptians, and Norse mythology. Is Age of Empires 5 in Development?

Unfortunately, no. The game is not in development as of now. The game developers are yet to announce the Age of Empires 5. Will it happen though? Given how popular the game is, it’s a definite yes but since the game is not even in the development phase it might take some time before the game developers finally come up with some kind of updates.

Furthermore, it took over 15 years for the franchise to finally come up with the Age of Empires 4 and is about to finally release and in for some fierce battle. Company of heroes and several well-received strategy game developers and Relic Ent. ensembles the much-awaited game Age of Empires 4 which will be out by October 2021.

When is the release date for Age of Empires 5?

Currently, we do not have a release date. As we mentioned, the game developers haven’t even announced it yet since they’re busy with the release of the Age of Empires 4. We’ll have to wait for its release first and then maybe we can expect an official announcement. Hopefully, we don’t have to wait long.

However, as far as our prediction goes, we can expect the Age of Empires 5 to arrive sometime in 2023. That’s all we can say at the moment.
