NBA All-Star Weekend 2012 – Sunday Coverage

For a recap of all of the action in last night’s “All-Star Saturday Night”, watch the video above. For the most part, I enjoyed watching the events. Personally I actually just watch it for the Charles Barkley commentary and love listening to the ridiculous things he says. Here is today’s schedule. NBA All-Star Game – 7:30pm ET (TSN) WHAT TO LOOK FOR — With Dwight Howard demanding a trade earlier this year, it’ll be interesting to see just how the fans will embrace him. With Friday’s events in the books, it was quite an eventful day. Kyrie Erving got the MVP award for the Rookie/Sophmore game dropping 34 points. Very impressive for the rookie who went 13/14 from field goal range. Kyrie helped Team Chuck beat Team Shaq 146-133 in the Rising Stars Challenge on Friday. Skills Challenge  Rajon Rondo will be replacing the reigning skills champion, Stephen Curry tonight as he faces the NBA’s elite point guards in the skillsRead More

NHL All-Star Weekend 2012 Recap in Ottawa

With All-Star Weekend just under wraps, lets reflect on everything that happened. The NHL Fan Fair was the event I enjoyed the most. Walking around the halls of the Ottawa convention centre and randomly seeing a superstar NHL’er is pretty surreal. I got to see tons of players I wouldn’t normally have the chance to be in the same room with. Also meeting the hockey analysts from TSN and various other TV stations was unreal as well. You almost watch them as much as you watch your favourite team. It was definitely an eventRead More
