About Far Cry 4
Ubisoft and Nvidia are working to bring “Hollywood levels” of animation and realism to the game studio’s upcoming releases Far Cry 4, Assassin’s Creed Unity, The Crew and Tom Clancy’s The Division on Windows PC.
Far Cry 4 release date has been set for November 18. Cue the E3 trailer reveal.
Far Cry 4’s existence has been confirmed, as well as a firm release date and platforms for its release.
According to Kotaku, Far Cry 4 has been set for November 18, 2014 in North America and November 20 in Europe for the PS4, Xbox One, PC, Xbox 360, and PS3. We can’t help but notice the Wii U has been excluded…again.
The game will be set in Kyrat, a fictional region in the Himalayan mountains ruled by a “despotic self-appointed king.” This confirms the rumor we reported earlier this year, which stated it’ll take place in the Himalayas.
Pre-orders will include a “free upgrade to the Limited Edition which includes Hurk’s Redemption, a series of three action-packed single-player missions featuring the popular character Hurk from Far Cry 3’s DLC. The Limited Edition also includes Hurk’s signature harpoon gun called ‘The Impaler”
