Yesterday was an amazing start to this year’s Comiccon in Ottawa, highlighted by a Q&A session by Giancarlo Esposito aka Gus Fring From Breaking Bad. We are back again today and have a PACKED schedule ahead of us! Down below are some of the highlighted Q&A sessions we will be attending. Keep this page refreshed during the day for hourly updated content and recaps including our photo gallery seen at the bottom of this page. You may see yourself there if you’re lucky!

Highlighted Q&A Sessions

Summer Glau 10:30-11:15 am – Main Events Hall 4

Christopher Lloyd 11:45-12:30 pm – Main Events Hall 4

– Started a bit late due to the AWFUL traffic getting to the EY Centre. You were then forced to pay $7 on a field down the road because the main parking lot had already filled up. Very annoying!

– Llyod seemed to have trouble remembering many roles he had played. Not surprising when IMDB credits him as playing over 180 roles!

– Particularly did not remember being on Malcolm in the Middle, at all. Seemed like he never even heard of the show.

– Llyod wasn’t as engaging as the other actors who have done Q&A, regardless he was still interesting to listen to. I partly blame this on the audience for not asking very good questions.

– Mentioned he has as small cameo reprising his role as Doc Brown in the new movie A Million Ways To Die in The West.

Bruce Campbell 1-45 pm – Main Events Hall 4

– Campbell set up his own “panel” from members of the crowd, then wanted the audience to ask them questions instead.

– Although this approach was unusual, it still was quite hilarious as he interacted with the crowd immensely throughout the Q&A session.

– Panel consisted of two people who sneaked in alcohol and a older gentleman who claimed he could sing.

– Campbell hinted that he plans to hopefully work with the Trailer Park Boys in the future.

– Had a competition to find the best dressed Ash, his character from the Evil Dead Series.

Sean Astin 2:30-3:15 pm – Main Events Hall 4

– Was one of the only actors who actually seemed THRILLED to be at the Ottawa Comiccon.

– Insisted for his Q&A to run longer, wanted to answer everybody’s questions.

– Made clear that Goonies 2 definitely happening.

– Broke down the stages it takes to be a voice actor, specifically talking about his time on TMNT.

Amanda Wyss 2:45-3:30 pm – Meeting Room D

Edward James Olmos 4-4:45 pm – Main Events Hall 4

Veronica Taylor 5:15-6 pm – Meeting Room D

Leonard Nimoy via Skype 5:30-6:30 pm – Main Events Hall 4

Main highlight was Nimoy being interrupted by current Star Trek Karl Urban!
